Does McCain deserve to be called a hero?

Five years as a Prisoner of War doesn’t mean a war Hero!
War Heroes return Home with Prisoners BUT NOT as Prisoners.

Duncan this is a very good piece of revelation.
John MacBush has no moral authority to claim that he would be a better commander in chief of the US.

He tries so much to make people think that he has a solid strong history yet he is just a weak figure, then and now.

John McCain was released from captivity in Vietnam on March 14, 1973 along with 590 other men. There were still more men missing in action in Vietnam at that time. The Vietnamese were holding back approximately 1,205 other POWs hoping to use their release as a bargaining chip to get President Nixon to provide Hanoi with financial retribution for the war. President Nixon agreed to send the money and the Vietnam government not trusting the arrival of these funds, held onto the prisoners. The money was never sent and the POWs never returned.

In 1992, John McCain wanted to put an end to everything Vietnam. That was until he decided that he wanted to run for President. Suddenly, it’s Vietnam all over again with a POW here and POW there and POW everywhere when John McCain speaks. What about the other 590 POWs? What about the 1,205 Americans left behind? I thought that the military code was to never leave a soldier behind? Well, US government did and John McCain didn’t speak up for them. Instead he withheld information from the families of MIAs and he continued to vote against extending veterans benefits.

and yet he calls himself a war Veteran, what a shame John MacCain.

The tone of the election from the McCain Camp is a an insight of how many people in the USA need to come into the 21st global world. Enrichment of a country mixed cultures, race colour and creed are the building blocks to learning and harmony.
The recent attacks on Obama who is reported as a decent family man who cares for his country, for all the people of the USA is disgraceful from the camp of ”the ex-prisoner of war” is McCain trying to imprison the nation in a mind set that is in the past?

probably Marie,he might be doing just that, what he forgets is that there are many people out there who have already decided that they won’t give up the dream,it is unfortunate that even in a country like USA :that boasts of civilization and the best democratic space like Still has elements of racism and insensitivity.

actually our ”the ex-prisoner of war” should have done better
