Kenya :

Just afew days after the Nakummatt inferno in Nairobi where more than 40 people are feared dead, kenyans today came to a wake full of sorrow as a petrol tanker explodes and kills more than 110 people who were siphoning fuel from it and leave hundreds seriously injured.
This incident ocured on the Nakuru-Eldoret Highway yesterday night.
It is beleived that the fire was started deliberately by a man who was hitting back at a police officer in the scene who was stopping people from getting the precious liquid.

As much as we should ask ourselves where we have gone wrong,we should also
ask ourselves how are the current times contributing to this particular
deaths, for instance if it were not for Hunger, poverty and high cost of
living, many people like that wouldn’t have risked their lives by going to a
petrol flooded area to get the liquid gold, they went there because the
government has failed to reduce the costs of living, they went there because
there are no measures put by the government to screen off zones like those
that are dangerous to life, most of them died because our government is not
equiped to deal with emergencies in the shortest time possible, they went
there in large numbers because a nation is dying of hunger .
It is highest time we stopped blaming God,President Kibaki and Primeminister
Odinga should learn from these two tragedies that have hit kenya and device
a system that will be able to protect the people and save them in times of
emergencies.
May God rest their soul in peace.
