I wonder why he has to break laws that he swore to protect every now and then. You can imagine now the body that was put to vet persons for Post Master general have now become irrelevant as they are paid yet the president does their job.

Ali has been removed because he has either done so well in the Police that he deserve to be tried in another Parastatal to improve or he has done so badly that he he need not to be recycled to any other Organisation, so whats the logic if it is not diverting Kenyans attention from Ringera's reappointment? Kibaki is taking Kenyans for a ride

Mr. President, you cannot give Ali another job he needed a sack. Removing criminals from their former positions and giving them jobs elsewhere will not do any justice to Kenyans

When Ali was appointed to the helm of the police force, he came with great ideas, had the intention to instill army discipline to the police officers among other things. He failed however to realise that this appointment is purely political and only aimed at achieving certain political goals and not necessarily effecting law and order. He learned this a long the way but refused to act for the Kenyan people and sided with the tiny ruling elite. His usefulness to them has come to an end.

It is a great shame for the president to ’reward’ the general with a parastatal job after a dismal performance elsewhere. It is time for us Kenyans to say no to this naked contempt not only for the law but also for the people of Kenya.

Welcome to the world of political intrigues Mr.Iteere.You will soon realize that having an illustrious career as yours matter very little in the eyes of politicians.
The choice is however yours whether to toe the political line or act for the good of your fellow citizens. The latter is usually a hard bargain that can cost all the luxuries that go with your new posting.
Make your choice wisely and leave history to make a judgment.Your path is not lacking in precedence.Good luck!!!

Iteere might be better if he isn’t compromised by the president because he has gone through the more disciplined system unlike the Army General.

That would make me less cynical.
