Do you really think that terrorists are going to stop bombing innocent people because Obama is now president?

And do you really believe that all the the prisoners in Gitmo are innocent? Even though many have admitted they are terrorists?

My argument is not that all are innocent, the point is that guilty or innocent most of them are always subjected to crude punishment or let me say they are mistreated.

Terrorists will always have their own reasons to bomb, but it is better not to give them a reason to do so.

Johnstone,  ”Terrorists will always have their own reasons to bomb, but it is better not to give them a reason to do so.” Not give them a reason to?/ What is that supposed to mean.    I REFUSE to live in fear, Johnstone.

The terrorist activity is influenced by the political leadership of the day

Duncan, frankly terrorists are not human, in my mind. People that will strap suicide bombs and kill innocent men, women and children... who will behead innocent men, women and children, blow up buses, crash planes into buildings killing thousands... do NOT deserve due process. \

And if it’s a question of having to focefully coerce information from a terrorist that might save thousands of people, I have no problem with that. Call me what you like, but I’d rather save thousands of innocents then worry about harming one terorist who would kill you if he had the chance.
