We want Anna Tibaijuka Back as the Head Of Nairobi Office. The replacement of the Director General of the United Nations Office in Nairobi Prof Anna Tibaijuka is unfair and a very bad move by the UN secretary General Mr Ban Ki Moon.

Although Prof Tibaijuka retains her post at the UN Habitat there was absolutely no reason for her to be replaced by a man in the name of Mr Achim Steiner(the UN Environmental Programme Executive Director)The reason i say this is that Mrs.Tibaijuka’s leadership has been productive and since nobody has raised any complaint against the Professor there is no reason why she should be replaced.

UN Is a body that is on the front line of the fight against marginalization of women in society and this a lone should have given the UN secretary General a point to reason, it is very unfair to take such a position from a woman (who was the only one in such a position in the whole world) and give it to a man without supporting reasons which naturally shouldn’t be there because Mrs.Tibaijuka was appointed by the same UN and has not failed the International Body.
